Agreement to these terms

By using stave.works or engaging Stave for any service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

You must be an adult of legal drinking age (21 or older in the United States) and authorized to act on behalf of the business you represent. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that business to these terms.

The services we provide

Stave is a service operated by OneNomad LLC, a United States limited liability company (“Stave,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We provide a range of services for craft-beverage businesses, which may include:

• A free AI visibility audit.
• AI-search visibility (GEO) fixes on your existing website, and ongoing monitoring.
• Website design, development, and website-as-a-service (hosting, monitoring, updates) when a rebuild is needed.
• Optional add-ons such as online store, shipping, club and membership, reservations, events and ticketing, insights, and integrations.

The specific scope, deliverables, and price for any engagement are set out in a separate order or statement of work. If anything in an order conflicts with these terms, the order controls for that engagement.

The free audit

The free AI visibility audit is provided as-is and for illustration only. Requesting or receiving an audit creates no obligation on either side, and nothing in it commits you to buy or commits us to sell. The findings are estimates based on the information available to us, not guarantees of any result.

No guarantee of results

AI citations, search rankings, and visibility depend on third-party engines and many factors outside our control, and those systems change often. We use sound, current practices, but we do not and cannot guarantee any specific ranking, citation, amount of traffic, or revenue outcome.

We would rather be honest than oversell. Anyone who promises guaranteed AI citations or rankings is overselling, and we will not make promises we cannot keep.

Fees, billing, and cancellation

Our pricing is public. The audit is free. Fixing what it finds on your existing site starts at $1,500 one-time, scoped by the audit. Ongoing monitoring with the monthly citation report is $249 per month. Full rebuilds and add-ons (store, shipping, club, reservations, events, integrations) are quoted from your audit. The specific price for any engagement is set out in your order or statement of work.

Subscriptions are month-to-month and bill in advance. You can cancel anytime, and you can export your data anytime. Fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where a refund is required by law. Late or failed payments may pause your service until the balance is resolved.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. You confirm that you own, or have the rights to use, the content, logos, and materials you give us. You are responsible for the lawful use of anything we build for you, and for keeping your account credentials secure. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Alcohol and regulatory compliance

This is important. Stave provides tools and general guidance, but we are not a law firm or a compliance advisor, and nothing we provide is legal advice.

You are solely responsible for your own licensing and regulatory compliance. This includes federal (TTB) and state alcohol licensing, direct-to-consumer shipping laws, taxes, age verification, and marketing rules. Any compliance features we build, such as shipping rules, are aids and not legal advice. You should confirm your requirements with qualified counsel before you rely on them.

Intellectual property

Stave retains ownership of its own tools, methods, and pre-existing materials. You retain ownership of your content and your brand.

For subscription plans, you receive a license to use the site we build and host while your subscription is active. For a one-time build-and-hand-off, ownership of the delivered site transfers to you upon full payment. Either way, you can export your data at any time.

Third-party services

Our work often connects to third-party platforms and integrations, for example Untappd, Commerce7, Square, Arryved, Toast, VinoShipper, ShipCompliant, and Klaviyo. Those services are provided by their own companies under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, their changes, or their acts, and your use of them is between you and them.

Acceptable use

Do not use our services to break the law, to infringe anyone else’s rights, to send unlawful or deceptive content, or to interfere with the operation or security of the site. We may remove content or suspend access if we reasonably believe this section has been violated.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site and our services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This includes any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stave is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the services in the three months before the claim arose.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Stave harmless from any claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise out of your content, your use of the services, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

Term and termination

Either party may end a month-to-month engagement with notice. We may suspend or end service for non-payment or for a violation of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and the limitation of liability, continue to apply after termination.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or our services will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you agree to that jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we will give more prominent notice. Your continued use of the site or our services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
